Prospective graduate students

Dr. Teasdale mentors PhD and master’s students who seek to develop their expertise in the practice and profession of evaluation. If you are interested in pursuing a the PhD in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Measurement, Evaluation, Assessment and Statistics (MESA) or an MEd in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment (MESA) and would like to work with Dr. Teasdale, please reach out as you prepare your application.

Current UIC graduate students

The Teasdale Research Group welcomes current PhD and master’s students in the College of Education and across the UIC campus who are interested in research about evaluation methods. Graduate research assistants contribute to study design, participate in data collection and analysis, and prepare publications and conference presentations. Current UIC undergraduate students

Our research group seeks detail-oriented, reliable, organized, and self-motivated undergraduate students who are interested in research to improve educational and social programs. The typical time commitment is 5 hours per week for at least one academic year. Duties may include transcription of recorded interviews and focus groups, managing data, conducting literature searches, helping to prepare journal articles, and participating in research group meetings. Advanced research assistants might have opportunities to be involved in the process of planning, implementing, and presenting research projects and might receive course credit or be paid for your work.
